 Welcome to the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo! CHECK OUT OUR 2008 SUMMER PROGRAM! • Hours: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM • Day Camp Fee: $10 per child • Please bring a sack lunch JUNE 16 (WEEK 1): "WELCOME TO SUMMER WEEK" Explore the fun our Club has to offer through orientation, exploration and getting to know other members. Don't miss our Jolly Jump social on Wednesday. JUNE 23 (WEEK 2): "TALENT WEEK" Show off your talents with different skill challenges and top it off by participating in our Talent Show Audition on Thursday. Join us on Wednesday for our bowling field trip to Harley's. JUNE 30 (WEEK 3): "AMERICAN PRIDE WEEK" Take pride in our nation through arts, crafts, interacting in all American sports and participating in learning about America. Don't miss the BBQ on Thursday. JULY 7 (WEEK 4): "BLAST FROM THE PAST WEEK" Start the week with alternative in the '90's, then get yuppie in the '80's, go groovy in the '70's, get hip in the '60's and on Friday afternoon, come to our '50's-style sock hop! And don't miss our Movie and Cold Stone Ice Cream field trip on Wednesday. JULY 14 (WEEK 5): "WACKY HAT WEEK" Wear your wackiest and most fun hat any day of the week and compete against your fellow campers for prizes. JULY 21 (WEEK 6): "NATURE WEEK" Get back to nature and get interested in conservation and the environment through all sorts of activities. And get back to the beach on our Wednesday field trip! JULY 28 (WEEK 7): "SPORTS & LEISURE WEEK" This week is all about sports and relaxing games. AUGUST 4 (WEEK 8): "STARS WEEK" Bring in your Star Wars toys and join us for our Tuesday field trip to LazerStar, then come and watch our youth show off their talents on Thursday at 5:30 PM. AUGUST 11 (WEEK 9): "WACKY WEEK" Experience all that California has to offer through fun activities and more. Wednesday will feature a field trip to Golf 'N Stuff. AUGUST 18 (WEEK 10): "ROBOTICS WEEK" Come and enjoy as our Club hosts a Robotics Camp. |
