Game Room

Our Games Room provides members with the opportunity to participate in many different activities including pool, foosball, bumper pool, chess, checkers, and many other board games. It also provides club members with an area where they can socialize with friends.

Triple Play

Soul: As boys and Girls learn to value and respect Youth Development Professionals and fellow members, they also learn to feel good about themselves and their surroundings. As this happens the members ability to interact positively with all youth and engage in healthy relationships will increase.

Virtues Program

A different virtue is displayed each week in the Gamesroom for the youth to learn. During Weekly Instruction, we cover the meaning of the word and how to apply in everyday life. If a member is caught modeling the virtue of the week, he or she will get a point to be added to the point system. The virtues are as follows: Honesty, Generosity, Responsibility, Integrity, Courage, Patience, Moderation, Perseverance, Humility and Gratitude

Weekly Instruction

Once a week at 3:30pm, we call all club members to turn in their games and take a seat on the Gamesroom floor. We teach them the "Official Tournament Rules” of one certain game per week.

Daily Tournaments

Tournaments are run daily in the Gamesroom for ages six through twelve. "Official Tournament Rules” apply in all tournaments.

Game Points

"Game Points” is a system for keeping track of how many tournaments each child participates in and has won. Also, if a child is caught following directions or a tournament rule while not participating in a tournament, he or she is given a point. Youth who are caught teaching other youth game rules are also given points. Stamps are put on a poster board next to the child’s name to represent the points they have earned. Incentives are given when the children reach fifty points.

Gamesroom Leaders

The top five Tournament winners of the week have their names displayed in the Gamesroom because of their outstanding skills performed in Tournaments.

Corner Pocket

This is a pool league that is designed for ages ten to twelve. The group meets once a week and members compete in pool tournaments against each other. Each week, players will rotate between who they compete against. The same terms and conditions of a seasonal sports league apply in this league as well.

Daily Movie

A different appropriate movie is shown every day at 4 PM in our games room.
