YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICE (Y.E.S.)

Begun in October 2005, the Youth Employment Service is facilitated by the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo. The program, formerly housed at the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, has been developed to assist youth ages 14 to 21 in finding employment within the community. It is a great matching service that is beneficial for the youth of Camarillo, for local businesses, and for individuals who may need assistance at their homes.

For more than 35 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo has served local youth with a mission of providing programs for young people that will inspire them to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. We believe that the Youth Employment Service is a great addition to our already diverse programming.

We are always accepting youth employment applications. If you are outgoing, self-directed and team-oriented, please stop by the Club to pick up an application. If you have any questions please call Linda Nuttall, Youth Employment Services Specialist, at 805-482-8113, Ext. 1, or email yes@bgccam.org

The best times to apply for part-time positions are at the beginning of May and the end of August.

Youth Employment Service hours:  Monday-Friday, Noon to 5 PM. Closed Wednesdays.
